Obama Represents Elena Kagan as a Solicitor General of Supreme Court

Elena Kagan Nominee for General Solicitor

Elena Kagan chosen by Barrack Obama president of USA for the nomination of Associate Justice in the Supreme Court of America. Elena Kagan is well known lawyer, professor as well as public servant.

This would be first time when two women are already taking seats in the Supreme Court and if Elena Kagan also confirmed for this seat then it will be history for USA that three women are having seats in the Supreme Court. 

"With the nomination of Solicitor General Elena Kagan to be an Associate Justice of the U.S. Supreme Court, President Obama has chosen a candidate who will protect and defend the Constitution of the United States. Solicitor General Kagan's outstanding service as a lawyer, professor, public servant, and administrator prepares her for this challenge, and she will come to the bench with a deep knowledge of the law and respect for all individuals.
