State of Economy Says "Hard Time to Work"

If you are looking for a job and did not find any work till then see how many others are too unemployed because there is too much competition now a days which was less in the past years. If you get a job by competing your fellows then my dear stick to it and do well because the unemployment is very awesome and fearful as you can see in the picture above what the result would be if you are still unemployed.

Cody Whitsel started working at JFE Landscaping Company three weeks ago. That was after two months of looking for a job.

"It's horrible. I've probably applied at 13, 14 different places, until I found this one," said Whitsel. 

The national recession, plus Sioux City's recession, equals big competition for jobs. 

"It's competitive because there's less employment opportunities. There's more people available for those employment opportunities so it's been competitive for at least the last year and half, and it has become more competitive in our area," said Diane Neri, Iowa Workforce Development.
