1st May 2010 is the Labor Day

First Labor Day

The first Labor Day was celebrated on Tuesday 5 September, 1882 by Central Labor Union in the New York City. The founder of Labor Day is a contention between the Peter MecGuire (co-founder of American Federation of Labor) and the Matthew Maguire (Secretary of International Association of Machinists)

BALTIMORE Partnership with Vatican

The University of Maryland "BALTIMORE" a medicine has announced its new partnership with the Vatican for research on work and where to spend the funding of $2.7 million in relation to research work with the Vatican.

The Vatican threw its support behind an international adult stem cell research project lead by the university last Friday, and an agreement was signed in Rome. School officials are celebrating the new partnership with optimism that the specialized research will lead to significant health benefits.

Virginia Lottery Got Unknown Winner

Shania twain was the guest judge in the American Idols this Tuesday as you know she has not released any album since past few years. In the competition youth singers are making lot of much and doing their best to entertained the audience. Cody Whitsel started working at JFE Landscaping Company three weeks ago. That was after two months of looking for a job.

"It's horrible. I've probably applied at 13, 14 different places, until I found this one," said Whitsel.

"It's competitive because there's less employment opportunities. There's more people available for those employment opportunities so it's been competitive for at least the last year and half, and it has become more competitive in our area," said Diane Neri, Iowa Workforce Development.

In Southern California the big store is giving a free Subway breakfast for eating to workers. The breakfast includes a white egg and a hamburger with any toppings. I also prefer a white egg on the regular egg in the hamburger. It was a nice deal and there was not too much deep lines there and can easily be taken the breakfast and as a result of injury every worker was ready to pay for it.

I just got back from hitting a Subway on Grand Avenue, on my way into work. The line was only about seven to eight deep and the staff seemed ready for any kind of crush. At this store, the workers were only giving out a sandwich made with egg whites and cheese, with your choice of bacon or ham

ACT Scores Now Available Online

Now ACT Test Scores are available online. The ACT test is about the admission and take your placement includes Math, Science, English etc questions to get admission in accordance with the ACT, 2009. About 1.4 million students take this entry test by paying an amount of $32-$47 and only 23% of which were succeeded to get their goal.

ACT test scores for students who took part in the exam on April 10, 2010 are now available for viewing online. Many students may be wondering, “How can I find my ACT scores online?” To view your scores, you will need to login to your ACT web account. If you don't have one yet, you can register for one online . You’ll need to provide some basic personal information to create your account, including your name, date of birth, Social Security number or ACT ID, and email address.

Is Bret Michaels Dead?

No information about the Bret Michaels dead. The Top Celebrity Singer Bret Michaels as he is suffering from diabetes was caught by stomach pains last April 12. The Stomach pains after a few days on April 22 cause the Brain Hemorrhage and bleeding was also found by the doctors after this in the base of brain.

Michaels’ publicist released information that the musician is conscious but experiencing slurred speech due to the hemorrhage. He reports, “Bret is a fighter and we are hopeful that once all is complete, the slurred speech, blurred vision and dizziness etc. will be eliminated and all functions will return to normal.”

The cause of the hemorrhage has not yet been found (or disclosed), but Michaels is currently undergoing tests and being constantly monitored in hopes of discovering the source of the internal bleeding.

IAAP New York, has announced a new day which from them by changing from Wednesday to "Administrative Professionals Day". The ambition of this day by IAAP is to enjoy themselves by sharing their love to each others and by giving some gifts like flowers.

IAAP has recommend Wednesday April 21, 2010 as a professionals day. This day people play games and some participate in parties. But it is not a local holiday in U.S.A.

IAAP or International Association of Administrative Professionals recommend that this day can be used as a day to further educate the employees, providing training and other opportunities and seminars. In 2000, IAAP changed the name of the day from Professional Secretaries Day to Administrative Professionals Day.

U.S Treasury New 100$ Bill

U.S has announced a new treasury 100 dollars bill. This is announced by the U.S treasury.

Now NASA has also conducted a marvelous welcome show in the honor of the astronauts very soon.

Discovery and its crew of seven swooped through a hazy sky before landing at the Kennedy Space Center, a day late because of rain.

"Welcome home," Mission Control said, radioing congratulations.

"It was a great mission. We enjoyed it," said commander Alan Poindexter. "And we're glad that the International Space Station is stocked up again."

If we went back in the History of United States at 1995, we will come to know that it was the same day as today April 19th when a terrorist attack was made in front of federal building in Oklahoma.
It was a huge and very lasting impact terrorist attack in which a truck full of blasting material was blown up in front of federal building in Oklahoma. This incident was taken a large number of victims about 168 citizen in his record.

Today people are gathering at the church in Oklahoma to present the tribute to the dead people in this incident.

Timothy McVeigh was arrested as the plan coordinator and was put to death on 11 June, 2001. Terry Nicholas was also found guilty and was sent to jail.

Obama wants dialogue with Pakistan

On this very Friday U.S president Barack Obama held a meeting at White House in discussion for the planning matters of dialogue with Pakistan for the betterment of situation in Pakistan and Afghanistan.

In the meeting the discussion report and minutes of meetings says that “the president and his team discussed the progress made by the Pakistani military through its offensive, continued US support for Pakistani people, and the continuation of our strategic dialogue with the Pakistani government.”
